Basic secondary education.
Certifications and Training in one of all of the following: Nitrogen & Helium Leak Detection, Pipe Freezing, Chemical Cleaning, High Pressure Water Jetting, Hot Oil Flushing, Hydraulic Bolt Torqing & Tensioning, Valve Testing, Pipeline and Umbilical pre-commissioning
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Service Supervisor-Nitrogen, which includes experience in supervision of the delivery of services.
Must be knowledgeable of design applications (Nitrogen Unipro II system, Halwin, and associated software).
Engineering related Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma.
Relevant site based industry experience
Previous experience in leading shifts for projects
Ability to perform pre/post job inspections is required.
Ability to operate nitrogen PSL equipment (i.e. Pumps, Tanks, Unipro II, etc.) is required.
Must possess the ability to understand operational procedures, well bore schematics, and computer programs.
Must have successfully completed the Essential Nitrogen, Nitrogen Operator training courses
Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment
Apply EnerMech Group and where appropriate Client’s Health, Safety & Environment Policies and Procedures
Ensure that all Quality and operational procedures as identified in EnerMech QA Manuals are adhered to at all times.
Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and procedures
Responsible for the safe and productive running of the shift.
Focal point for QHSE related matters on the project at shift level, reporting the EnerMech Project Manager.
Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance programs and practices are followed to ensure maximum uptime for all EnerMech equipment.
Perform pre-mobilization function testing of equipment, review work packs and procedures for execution of Nitrogen & Helium Leak Detection
Workshop based duties will also include assisting with equipment specification and function testing, and maintenance when required.
Site based duties will entail the direct supervision and management of teams of Technicians leading to a safe execution of the work.
Supporting the Project Manager and Engineer in the smooth running of the project by addressing personnel, equipment and client issues in an appropriate manner.
Request / ensure scaffolding, insulation, I&C and heat tracing support
Preparation of permanent equipment
Rig-up of temporary testing equipment
