Contract: Civil Engineer / Canada

A large Oil & Gas company is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their busy Engineering team in Calgary, AB. 

This is on a short term contract basis (5 Months) with the possibility for extension. 

The Civil Engineer is expected to work on the IPEP 500 Demonstration Plant project. They are currently in the EDS phase of Engineering and doing all of the work in-house. The successful applicant will produce deliverables such as, Civil Design Criteria, Ditch and Ponds sizing (calculations), Civil layouts and Keyplans, Rough Grading and Finished Grading Plans, 3D Modelling, Site Survey scope of work, MTOs, etc. There will be a lot of interaction with the Mining group.


Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering Degree or Equivalent 
• Member of APEGA with P.Eng.
• Must be proficient using InRoads and Microstation up to designer level
• Team player with superior time management and communication skills
• Experienced with Microsoft Office
• Strong technical, oral, and written communication skills
• Oil and Gas experience is essential 
• Ability to pass pre-hire drug and alcohol testing
