DATA PROCESSOR / Kazakhstan

Location: Atyrau 5/2

Maintenance, cleaning, testing and preparation of all Metocean equipment at base office and work sites prior to, during and post-field service visits, deploy and recover of meteorological and oceanographic equipment
To do data interpretation and QC/QA of information received from instrumentation located throughout the North Caspian
Annalistic and investigative approach to data analysis, to find problems as they occur
Programming on Visual Basic and CRBasic languages, performing FAT tests
To do in properly maintaining equipment, consumables and software inventories, including status flagging, calibration or servicing requirements, location and actions required
Maintain data transmission via satellite, radio, GPRS and LAN connections, interfaces and IO Filedbus, serial communications
Prepare weekly, monthly and annual QA reports for clients, make a presentation to see current changes on data
Creating schemes and perform internal pre-installation works of sensors and loggers, station installation on site
Fully trained in the use of hand tools, operation and test equipment, calibration tools and simulation devices.
Troubleshoot hardware, software and systems failure using established procedures and determine the most cost-effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime.
