Contract: Machinist / Canada

The valued client is seeking a Maintenance Machinist in Nisku, AB for a 6 month contract.  Candidates must be local to the area.

Job Summary:

• Machining parts for manufacturing of completion products using manual or NC lathe and mill machines. 
• Produces complex parts from a variety of materials within close tolerances.
• Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Machine complex features with a wide range of materials.
  • Selects tools and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
  • Work to a machining plan.         

Additional Job Details:

Machinist with CNC experience is required, Lestritz LWN 160, Mills, manual lathes, Mazak CNC machine and welding experiences are preferred; red seal and CNC programming capability will be a plus but not mandatory.

PCP machining experience is an asset.

Material handling experience, including forklift crane, narrow isle forklift, telehandler.
