Contract: Electrical Engineer lV / Canada

The client, a large Oil & Gas midstream company, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer lV, based out of Edmonton. This is a long-term contract role with strong possibility for extension, subject to start this year December and end next December 9, 2022.  The Work Schedule / Hours of work - Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm).

POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing electrical product/subsystem release solutions.
• Designing electrical components and interconnects
• Engaging in all phases of new product introduction, including concept, architecture (Sr. Electrical Engineer), documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
• Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives
• Ensuring reliability, performance, and delivery through supplier relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 10+ years engineering experience in a related field
• Other initiatives as required to support attainment of 'Best in Class' Project Controls per Independent Project Analysis (IPA) benchmarking.
