The Project Engineer is responsible for broad technical and execution surveillance of the EPC contractor's engineering execution effort from the date of contract award through completion of Detailed Design.  This includes stewardship of Engineering Surveillance, key work processes/procedures, Lessons Learned, and resolution/closure of technical action items from formal assessments and project reviews.
 
Interfaces cross-functionally within the Project Team to align on objectives and execution plans.  Executes special projects or initiatives as assigned by Engineering Division Manager to facilitate project management.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Works effectively within established procedures, or creates and endorses new procedures as necessary to further develop the Project Management System and philosophy.
  • Works on high capital expenditure projects in a highly dynamic team environment that has tight-deadlines, high pressure and visibility, requiring accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.
  • Demonstrates willingness to tackle a variety of tasks in response to evolving business needs.
  • Ensuring optimal delivery of Process and Surveillance engineering deliverables related to Topsides, with much of the work involving close collaboration with Contractor.
  • Maintaining constructive and positive working relationship with EPC Contractor to ensure delivery of Engineering per plan and inaccordance with project requirements.
 
Qualifications & Experience:
 
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering discipline
  • Good experience at Project Engineering level with focus on Engineering execution
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of:
    • Design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
    • Offshore facilities design, construction, and operations
    • Engineering execution
  • Broad knowledge of design requirements for multidiscipline engineering environment
  • Broad range of experience and skills through multiple function and project assignments (Multi-discipline skill set)
  • Strong organizational, management, and technical judgment skills
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills

Work Days:             6 days/week
Mobilisation Date:    ASAP
