Contract: Safety Engineer / France

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

The client are looking for a service of safety design of the FPSO package in line with project HSE objectives and an efficient support to the overall project safety engineering activities.

Localisation : Paris Duration : 1 year

MISSION

The required service includesthe following missions:

? Safety Design and safety specifications defined in the Project HSE Requirements,

? Supervision and review of Contractor safety engineering deliverables, participate to all Safety reviews and Risk Assessments,

? HSE: o Implementation of HSE requirements o Preparation of HSE documents

? Organization: o Guarantee of an efficient safety engineering organization o Communication with the relevant HQ and Affiliate HSE entities

? Engineering:

? follow up of all required and relevant safety and environmental studies, reports and audits and, where applicable, check that recommendations are well implemented

? Supervision of Project TRA technical studies and report for management

? Review of all safety-related documents, such as safety calculation notes, plot plans/layouts, safety logic control and all safety-related specifications for construction, operation and maintenance

? Planification of safety and environmental reviews (TRA, HAZID, HAZAN, HAZOP …)

? Monitoring of the close-out of all safety-related action items arising from the safety reviews and project reviews

? Participation to technical/weekly/monthly meetings

? Promotion of GHG reduction initiatives and implementation in the Project design

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

- High expertise required in FPSO/Offshore safety & risk engineering in oil & gas area.
