An oil and gas operator currently require a Facilities Engineer for a North Sea decommissioning project to be based in Aberdeen, UK.
The Facilities Engineer will coordinate and controlling contracts for the design, removal and disposal of platform structures, and the disconnection, burial, and removal of the subsea architecture.
You will also coordinate all project elements including tendering, evaluation and award of contracts, engineering design, HSEQ, planning, permits and other regulatory requirements; Manage the HLV & Subsea activities; Plan project requirements and resources; Anticipate any potential project risks; Produce deliverables on-time to project requirements; Accurately cost any changes in specifications; Effectively analyse project and internal changes; Produce clear, focused and understandable explanations for change requests; Track project changes; Track tasks against the project plan; And other ad hoc duties.
You will have a Degree within relevant engineering field; Good understanding of engineering principles; Proven Project Engineering/Project Management experience; Advanced Microsoft user to include Project and Excel software; and Understanding of legislation and standards.
