Contract: Process Control Specialist / Thailand

The client is currently recruiting a Process Control Specialist to work on Thailand's biggest refinery. 

This client emphasized having 10+ years Process Control operational experience on oil refineries.
 
The client requires the successful candidate to take responsibility mainly for their new conversion process complex. The candidate will also provide necessary support for their brown field oil refinery process units. The candidate must be able to review/improve the process control design with strong operational problem solving competencies.
 
The term of this contract is 3-4 years. This position is at our clients office in Thailand, full time.
 
The successful candidate must have ability and strong will to coach/develop/motivate their young staff.  Managerial skills, such as setting up a department budget, the ability to appraise his/her staff and set up career development plan for their staff, would be a plus.

Work Scope Below 

To manage efficient process control. support day to day operation with due consideration to safeguard and ensure stable operations while meeting product quality requirement-Lead process control to support as the Process Control Manager for expansion projects. The work will be carried out in according with the mandatory project but there are many aspects of the job e.g. multi-licensor, green and brown filed modifications, working in live plant area, project time limitation, vendor management, deviations from project specification that require a high level of judgement and interpretation, cost optimization but not compromise safety and reliability and coaching/supervising/managing process control team member.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
