Geotechnical Specialist/ Team Leader (Road) - Landslide study: Nepal

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is working with an International Consultancy firm who are putting together a team for an upcoming Technical Assistance projects carrying our Studies and advising on a new road projects and geotechnical conditions in a Mountainous area prone to landslides.

Opportunity:

The successful individual shall be working as part of an International Team Carrying out site studies, survey work and reviewing previous geotechnical & topographical documents to advise on the best solution.

Responsibilities:

The successful expert shall be responsible for coordination of all geotechnical information, lead a team of specialist to develop a clear strategy inline with the clients request. A significant part of the role shall be stakeholder management with the local ministry and ADB.

Key requirements for the roles:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or its relevant field Preferable: Master's degree in Geotechnical engineering or its related disciplines.
• 15+ years of Professional Experience
• 10+ years' experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in a similar project.
• Working experience in Himalayan region.

The budget for the position is around $8,000 per month, tax free with full expatriate package.
