The client, a global Oil and Gas Operator, are currently recruiting for 2 Construction Engineers for an initial 12 month contract. This role will be FIFO within Queensland.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Review of IFR project construction & commissioning documentation including SOW, Design Drawings, commissioning strategy etc
- Assist supervision and management in the development of construction methodology/ project execution plans
- Liaise with Construction Management and Contractors clarifying all design aspects to ensure that they are safely and efficiently constructed
- Participation in design development workshops with Engineering Contractor (HAZIDs, Risk Reviews, Constructability, etc)
- Assist Field engineering & completions with maintenance of accurate records (as-built mark-ups, punch lists, etc.)
- Assist Field Engineering surveys and prepare detailed field sketches / reports / calculations
- Provide advice on the technical resolution of construction and design queries and make recommendations
- Carry out inspections and verifications in accordance with the approved Inspection & Test Plans
- Lead / Participate in Project Readiness Review meetings
- On-site coverage for all shut-down works
- Generate fortnightly handover record for B2B for each swing transition
- Scope of Work reviews
- 3-5 years of Upstream Projects experience in the Oil & Gas industry (CSG experience advantageous)
- Experience with Permit to Work (PTW) systems
- Experience in development of Procedures and ITP’s
- Educated in technical or engineering discipline at tertiary level (first degree, or equivalent, preferred).
