Freelance/Contract: Wind Logistics and Procurement Coordinator / Vietnam

The market leading infrastructure & energy recruiter is seeking a Wind Logistics and Procurement Coordinator for a role in Vietnam.

Job Role / Responsibilities

As focal point, of country logistics and procurement dpt., coordinate with stakeholders, to handle logistics and procurement works timely under low cost, and compliance fulfilment. Several roles played by this position.

Roles of Operational purchasing:

1. Order placement for spare parts and the others, to the vendors.
2. And track/close the purchasing orders, and the payment closure with finance.
3. Measure/report the key performance indicator of inbound delivery, under guidance of regional SPS dpt.
4. As team member of regional Order management, functionally report to regional Order management manager

Role of import/export and logistics:

1. Manage/handle the logistics process operation to comply with all related laws, regulations and policies from the destination and departure Customs under ECC dpt., and with guidance of regional SPS dpt.
2. Arrange the shipment with nominated forwarders per incoterms of trading. and coordinate the customs clearance operation for inbound and outbound shipments for country entities.
3. Advance transportation PR/PO release in system, confirm final logistics cost per quotation and arrange payment to forwarder in time.
4. Deal with difference declare type, ie. Normal trading, repairing, temporary import/export...
5. Coordinate the Import/export license renew and application. Apply relevant document of import /export permits, ie. DUAL USE, CCC, DGM to ensure all cargo can be clearance smoothly. Coordinate with local Customs, resolving accident during declare procedure eg: inspection on site or re-inspection yearly….
6. Classify for customs HS code and declare elements confirmation
7. Review all chemical cargo inspection record timely to ensure all chemical cargo can be imported/exported smoothly.
8. Tracking import/export shipments status and information record to the related people on time.
9. Analyse and optimize logistics lead time and cost.
10. Prepare documents with local language and translate some necessary document.
11. Coordinate with finance department and apply for import tax timely, such as financial Audit, collect the tax document, declaration sheet…….
12. Collect and file logistics document, provide the support to other department

Roles of Procurement:

1. Be the local focal point of region procurement team, be the facilitator and support to collect the region procurement requirement and reflect to region procurement team in advance, leaving reasonable time for sourcing;
2. Apply to the company purchasing & awarding procedure and compliance requirement when execute procurement related work;
3. Responsible for minor purchase that PVO is less than 10K Euro for local country;
4. Obtain savings of 5% of the above purchasing and report to region procurement team on monthly basis;
5. Support region procurement team for initial sourcing purchasing activity more than 10K Euro;
6. Support region procurement team for other related procurement issues relate to the country;

Requirements

1. Hold Bachelor degree or above with supply chain/logistics , or relevant major.
2. More than five- year experience of Import/export on machinery industrial field, or relevant, with management experience on import/export; and/or logistics;
3. Familiar with the policy from customs of Vietnam. Full experience and knowledge of international shipping terms and procedure. Familiar with Chemical inspection and export procedure. Experience for different declare type and import/export permit.
4. Purchasing working experience is a plus.
5. SAP operation experience is needed.
6. Strong communication capabilities, IN Vietnamese, and English.

Salary Package

The client will offer a rate per hour and will also provide flights, accommodation, transportation, immigration support, payroll services and accident insurance on site.
