Engineering Manager - SCADA/PLC based Control Systems

This is an exciting opportunity for a experience Control Systems Engineering Manager to join a major player within the Oil & Gas industry!

The client is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Engineering Manager to lead our team of software and hardware engineers delivering major infrastructure projects.

The role will be based in London office and the successful candidate will play a key role in the Company's automation business - Leading project teams and taking responsibility for delivering systems in accordance with client technical and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for and have experience with:

• Experience with the early design phase of Control Systems
• Oil & Gas experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Control System Engineering management experience
• Managing day to day activities of the engineering teams
• Project management including client liaison, leading client progress meetings, planning and reporting
• Managing the project budget
• Experience with the early design phase of Control Systems
• A good technical understanding of SCADA & PLC based control system hardware and software and the management of design and build software projects
