Contract: Hot Oiler Operator / Chad

This is a 28/28 rotational position in Chad.

In this role you will be responsible for;

• Competent in the preparation of commissioning planning and reporting documentation.
• Competent in understanding and explaining related documentation: Pre start-up safety review (PSSR) procedures, Confined space entry, Control of work (Permit to Work), HAZOP/ HAZID and safety override planning and procedure.
• Competent in troubleshooting Heater Control & Modulation and Pressure & Flow Control.
• Gain the experience to operate in the oil/gas field operations and project based facilities development, covering well sites, gathering systems and manifolds, testing facilities, production facilities and export measuring facilities and production operations, in a multi-national commissioning operations team.

Additionally you will;

• Conduct scheduled repairs and maintenance
• Follow safe operating procedures according to specifications of jobs and equipment specifications of loads and equipment
• Document pre-job planning and safety checks. Operating high pressure pump and burner for heating fluids
• Operating high pressure pump to circulate hot oil or water down flow lines, tubing and casing to melt and remove paraffin build-up
• Operating high-pressure pump to test the integrity of tubing and casing
• Observing equipment gauges and indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions
• Driving heavy equipment on public road ways in poor condition
• Frequent standing during fluid heating operations
• Lifting, carrying and laying out hoses and joints of pipe from the truck unit to the wellhead or battery. May be required to lift over 50 lbs.
