The client, a private equity backed growing Oilfield Technology Manufacturer, has a permanent opportunity for a Completions Advisor to be based out of Houston, TX.
 
Job Summary
 
The Completions Advisor is a new role for the Company experiencing increased revenue from the application of its products in injection and production wells.  The Completions Advisor will focus on supporting the Business Development and Operations functions by reviewing well bore diagrams, well logs, completions procedures, and post-job analysis with the goal of assessing and reporting on well performance. 
 
The ideal candidate will be experienced in both designing completion and recompletion procedures for injection and production wells (to include SWD-salt water disposal wells). They will also be experienced at interpreting well logs and will actively participate in business development discussions with clients. 
 
Responsibilities

• Execute the Company’s strategic business plan.
• Support the value-added selling technique - explain the functional use of the products while translating their positive economic impact to customers’ operations
• Independently review Operator well bore diagrams, well logs, completions procedures, and post-job analysis with the goal of assessing and reporting on post-completion well performance
• Source candidate wells from the Data Analytical Intelligence Platform with an understanding of the geological formations in the Permian basin
• Maintain and continually develop knowledge of competitive products and their applications
• Engage with wireline companies and operators via telephone, email or in person to address inquiries, concerns and provide feedback in a timely manner
• Provide on-site support to clients upon request
• Coordinate with Executives and Operations to develop, maintain and continually improve the Company’s products and business development materials
• Update executive management on status of objectives and progress towards goals

Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering required
• Previous experience working as a Completions Engineer
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience working with unconventional onshore wells, Permian region a plus
• Ability to read and interpret without assistance wellbore diagrams, well logs, and have geological knowledge of reservoirs in the Permian Basin
• Knowledge of Salt-Water Disposal Wells (New SWD and unconventional well completions)
• Experience with recompletions of injection and production wells
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time
