Skill: Head of Shutdown Execution  

Duration: 3 years

Offshore - 28 days on/28 days off. OR

Onshore – 5/6 days a week

Travel Days unpaid

Leave Schedule: 30 Calendar Days every 1 year OR 12 weeks / 2 weeks

Expenses with regard to the family and education is not paid

Family can be brought into the country under personal sponsorship

Location: Qatar Offshore / Qatar Onshore / possibility of overseas

Job Description:

• 25 years’ experience working within oil and gas industry in a Project Execution related environment with experience of offshore projects, engineering, operations and having at least 15 years of extensive experience in offshore project execution and shutdowns, most of them in a supervisory role
• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or equivalent execution experience.
• Supports Project Management Team (PMT) in managing and controlling project shutdown execution activities, by providing guidance to the team, ensuring timely and effective directions are followed in all aspects of planning and executing the workload.
• Direct the team to ensure the safety, administrative and operational aspects of shutdowns are
  monitored and the performance targets are being met.
• Ensures overall compliance with shutdown Execution Plans, specifications, and procedures by promoting effective communication and team working together with best practice sharing to improve operational efficiencies.
• Manage the Shutdown preparation from Pre-Shutdown through Post Shutdown, ensuring compliance to the requirements and adherence to all shutdown milestones. Direct and control the team responsible for preparing and supporting the safe implementation of shutdown and execution activities for the EPC- Offshore project team. Coordinate with with all stakeholders and manage the integrated shutdowns schedule. In all activities, ensure fit for purpose application of best practices, technology and appropriate strategies for successful execution.
