THE ROLE

I am seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join a large firm of construction consultants in the City area of London.

You will work on large building construction projects valued from £50m to over £300m or more.

The focus of this role is to support their Programme advisory and commercial developer team.

Clients include property developers, blue chip businesses and more.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful international firm of construction consultants.

They have offices worldwide.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Senior Planning Engineer with good experience of using Primavera P6 and possibly other planning software e.g. Asta.

You will be an ambitious Planning Engineer who has worked for either a main contractor or another firm of construction consultants.

You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in a Construction subject.

You will work closely with the Project Management and Programme management teams.

Experience to produce schedules for complex projects or linked projects forming programmes.

Experience to help in the production of tenders to secure new work.

Be able to provide intelligence based schedules for construction projects using experience and site knowledge.

Be able to analyse contractors schedules to identify excessive activity durations with a view to accelerating delivery.

Experience of using NEC contracts and the contractual requirement to accept or reject the contractor programme.

You must have experience of large high value building projects from £50m and more.
