Foreman / Australia

The client is one of Victoria's busiest builders in the Tier 2 space. They specialise in commercial, apartment and retail projects up to $100M in value. The organisation has grown off the back of a dynamic, professional culture with focus on growing their client base and empowering their staff to ensure retention levels are high. 
 
To be considered, you will need previous experience on medium to large scale commercial projects in a similar role. You will have keen attention to detail and you will be exceptionally organised. You will possess a high degree of technical knowledge and must come from a trade background.

Responsibilities of the foreman will include:

• Assist with the scheduling and planning of work
• On site Quality Assurance 
• Provide support to trades and labour & co- ordinate sub-contractors
• Oversee on site OH & S
• Liaise with the senior site manager and other foreman
• Attend and present at weekly site meetings

You will possess the following:

• Trade qualified
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry
• Proven track record delivering projects for a head contractor
• Strong experience in managing structures or Finishes
• Demonstrated experience in subcontractor management, site supervision and an understanding of safety systems
