Introduction

The client is pleased to offer the following key contract position: Cost Controller / JV Accountant

Work Location: Sandnes

Start date: ASAP - 31.12.2020

Description

• Provide strong business support and analysis including costs & revenues controlling and operational controlling activities

• Monitor and report on asset performance and asset performance actions

• Work closely with the Asset team, provide financial analysis and support to the Asset Manager

• Responsible for license cost control and JV accounting for Neptune’s operated assets including reconciliation of JV billings, preparation of accruals and validation of internal POs and invoices

• In charge of asset related monthly closing, reporting and analysis of actuals in close collaboration with the Reporting and FSSC teams

• Provide input to short term cash forecasting and cash management as key contact for treasury and accounts payable

• Provide support for in- and outgoing JV audits and liaise with auditors

• Liaise with authorities for asset related financial reports

Requirements

• Relevant Masters or Bachelor's degree

• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a similar financial position

• Minimum 2 year experience in the E&P sector and good understanding of E&P asset performance

• Strong knowledge of JV accounting and accounting agreements of Joint Venture Operations on the NCS.

• Very good knowledge of SAP, in specific for the FI, MM and asset modules

• Ability to deliver reporting’s according to internal and corporate deadlines and to prepare required analysis in predefined formats and time

• Good communication skills

• Language: English required, Norwegian is a plus
