This opportunity, based in The Hague, is working with a consortium made up of 2 major oil and gas operators. The Ethylene Cracker project is beginning FEED stage and looking for an individual with significant experience in static equipment - pressure vessels & heat exchangers in particular.

Dimensions of service

  • Manage the static equipment within MFC Package, i.e. process sections (Steam Cracker Unit, Refinery off Gas treatment) as well as Utility & Offsite (Refrigerated Storages, BFW preparation, spent caustic pre-treatment…)
  • Make the link between the clients Engineering Core Team to ensure the respect of the clients Standards and Specifications, FEED Contractor and TIPT
  • Provide PVHE Engineering expertise to the clients Project.
  • The project has the added complexity of requiring integration with the rest of the clients' complex (FEED design by TPIT): so interface between FEED Contractor and TPIT shall be facilitated.
  • Provide support to the project team during FEED stage. This support will take the form of answering engineering design questions raised by the contractor.
  • Ensure that the FEED engineering work is performed in accordance with the Project specifications and applicable standards, in close coordination with the Engineering Core Team (ECT).
  • Focus expertise on the most critical equipment (criticality includes here also the risks related to the origin of the equipment, knowledge of the vendor, location of the shop, …)
  • Review technical documentation, requisitions, TBT and provide its technical analysis.
  • Review together with ECT Engineering Manager the deviations to specifications related to his discipline issued by Contractor

Experiences

The required experiments are:

  • Good skill within the related disciplines
  • Expertise in designing a wide range of static equipment for Refining and Petrochemical Industry applications
  • Knowledge and experience with API standards associated with its discipline.
  • Experience of concept design/development for new construction projects, preparation of tender documentation and evaluation procedures.

Location of the service

  • The service will take place on the FEED offices in THE HAGUE - NEDERLAND.

Duration of the service

  • The duration of the service will be twelve (12) months and will begin on January, 2020 and end on December, 2020.
