Systems Integration Manager (£200K per annum) / Australia

The client, a leading railway systems consultancy, is looking to hire a Systems Integration Manager for their project in Perth, Australia. This role involves managing the design and the delivery of the rail systems scope of the project, and also taking the project into testing and commissioning phases.

Duties of the role
The main function of the Systems Integration Manager consists of supporting the delivery of all the railway system level activities aimed to integrate the different supplies being part of the transportation system.
* Primary interface with the main contractor, each rail E&M system responsible engineer, the Railway Authority and the Independent Safety Assessor.
* Assure a proper management of the Scope of Work, both considering technical and coordination aspects.
* Manage project documentation till the final approval of the Contractor, Railway Authority and the Independent Safety Assessor.
* Responsible for all technical aspects that may arise concerning systems engineering & integration activities.
* Coordinate the Staff of the General Contractor that is assigned to system integration / engineering activities.
* Coordinate technical team of expert technical consultants based in Headquarters and travelling to site according to the project needs.
* Take initiative as problems and opportunities arise, and meet customer needs and company expectations.
Requirements to apply
Degree qualified in Engineering discipline
20+ years in railway systems engineering management
10+ years in systems interface and integration management
Experience in Australia is preferred but not essential
