COMMUNITY ASSISTANTThis position is specified to Indonesian passport holder and a recent graduate with 3 years of work experience. The Community Assistant will support communication, community relations and social impact management for the mining project in Nusa Tenggara Barat. The Community Assistant will provide support for the implementation of community engagement strategies and plans.

- Liaise with communities, traditional leaders, local authorities, NGOs, INGOs, and other relevant stakeholders to gather information that will support the Project using interviews, meetings, community mapping and other participatory approaches
- Ensure that community engagement, socialisation and consultation activities occur in accordance with project plans and strategies
- Ensure that all reports are completed to a high standard and that all data is accurate and well-presented
- Manage the implementation of all community relations plans, procedures and reporting (e.g. grievance mechanisms, etc.)
- Support the preparation and implementation of community development programs and initiatives as part of the Project
- To manage the acquisition of land, land certification and company land data completion according to company operational activities as regulated by the government
- Previous experience of using participatory techniques to gather information in at-risk communities
- Ability to record information accurately and clearly
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of people
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage with an audience
- Knowledgeable in the land acquisition process, related to land acquisition according to the government regulation.
- Having exposure in handling land acquisition problems and land certification activities
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a role that interacts with the community
- Experience in gathering information and analysing findings in relation to stakeholders and interest groups
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
