Buyer – Residential Developer / England

A well-known name within the housing market is seeking a Buyer for their Bedford office. Specialising in the private housing sector they are considered one of the strongest regional Developers in the area. As Buyer you would be joining an already successful commercial team on a permanent basis.
 
The role is office based and requires the procurement of materials, labour and plant to ensure sites can run effectively and to budget. This role with report in to the Commercial Director.
 
The ideal candidate must have,

• Experience in the procurement and purchase of materials and sub contract labour for residential projects.
• Strong computer skills,
• Aware of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health and Safety requirements.
• The ability to do take offs

 
It would be an advantage to have/be,

• Worked for a recognised house builder
• Within 1 hour of the office.

 
This is a role that the company must fill so if you currently are an experienced Assistant Buyer you may still be considered with a salary to suit.
