Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager / England

THE ROLE

I am seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Building Construction industry to join a multi disciplinary firm of consultants in London SE1.

You will do both pre contract and post contract work.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects including construction projects for higher education projects, large residential and mixed use projects and some commercial projects.

THE COMPANY

My client is a medium to large firm of multi disciplinary construction consultants providing both cost management (quantity surveying), project management, building surveying and architecture to a wide range of clients.

They have a number of offices across the U.K. and are expanding.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be either a Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor or be “chartered by experience” with five years or more post graduate experience and be able to run your own projects.

You should also be able to mentor and help graduates and assistants as required.

You should have a stable work record and have been working for either a firm of PQS or multi discplinary consultants.

You will need good experience of all pre and post contract work.

Excellent client facing skills are essential.

You must have good communication skills, both written and spoken.

Salary is negotiable according to level of experience plus pension, RICS fees etc.
