Description
Steward engineering contractor’s development of compression station module concept with focus on:
- design life, weight management, installation, structural analysis and efficient design.
- Support the engineering contractor’s processes, design reviews, etc.
- There will be a requirement to balance the need to progress the scope to meet project schedule with ensuring engineering effort is appropriate for the project phase.
- There will be a key interface with the project installation team.
- Engage other project teams to ensure compliance with company engineering standards, project controls, operational performance targets, etc.
- Support project assurance processes for timely development of cost and schedule estimates.
- Observe project processes to ensure compliance with company requirements
- Promote a positive safety culture by active participation in development, implementation and enforcement of the design of an inherently safe approach to meet our desired normally unmanned goal.
- Participate and lead IIF initiatives across owners and contractor scope.
- Ensure design deliverables incorporate HFE.
Requirements
- 15+ years in subsea structures with an emphasis on Deepwater design and installation
- Management / coordination of structures design contractor
- Subsea compressor or pump station design
- Experience of structural and installation analysis
- Fabrication
- Installation
- Working within a multi-discipline project team
- Major Capital Project execution, assurance activities
- Structured decision evaluation and communication
- Stewardship / management of contractors, associated budget and schedule control
- Planning and reporting
- Operator engineering specifications and their application
- Operator safety expectations and initiatives

- Written and verbal communication skills (English and Norwegian)
