Description
Piping engineer with the experience from several of the below task
- Preparation of piping design documentation, specifications, drawings in projects
- Good knowledge in Class Societies Requirements and relevant normative standards.
- Cooperation and coordination with other disciplines, clients, Class Societies, manufacturers, sites etc.
- Pipe stress analysis in Caesar
- Design and 3D modelling of piping systems using AutoPLANT
- Modelling of equipment and pipe supports using Inventor
- Creating piping Isometrics and piping general arrangement drawings
- Creating piping 2D drawings using Autocad.
- Checking piping isometrics drawing, pipe support drawings and other piping drawings and documents
- Ensuring that Vendor Documentation meets with technical design basis and assumptions
Requirements
- Work role is project based and requires good technical and practical understanding.
- We would like to hire positive, motivated employees with good ability to work both independently and with others.
- We seek engineers with 3-10 years of relevant experience.
- Working experience from oil and gas industry is considered an advantage.
- We seek candidates that are structured, quality conscious, and motivated to work in a hectic environment.
- Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and verbal, is expected.
- Relevant working experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
