E&I Technician / Denmark

One of our leading oilfield service clients are currently looking for a number of Electronic & Instrument Technicians, for work offshore in Denmark. Working onboard a vessel, you will initially be set up on a 3 month contract, either working a 2/2 or 28/28 rotation...details below:

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, calibrate and maintain all electrical/electronic components and systems for proper operating condition onboard the vessel and at the port facility
• Operate or install any electronic equipment as required
• Train selected Stimulation and Maritime crew to maintain/operate same equipment
• Set up and maintain an approved spare parts inventory to facilitate repairs and preventative maintenance
• Prepare and keep all necessary records for job functions
• Assist Mechanic, etc as required
• Maintain equipment certification in accordance with company procedures
• Liaise with Blender Operator, Engineer to ensure QA of all measuring and monitoring devices satisfactory
• Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of all fellow workers or other workers is preserved at all times
• Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant COMPANY HSE handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures
• Any other duties as assigned by Vessel Supervisor
• Responsible for Housekeeping of ET and Lower ET Rooms
• Ensure that accidents and incidents are effectively managed and investigated in accordance with COMPANY and legislative requirements
• Ensure that health and safety systems, security systems, procedures are utilized to maximum effect to avoid accidents and incidents
• Ensure all necessary records are complete accurate and legible, are filled as per procedure and are communicated to those personnel who have the right to know
