Description
Marine Operations Lead has the following main responsibilities:
• The Marine Operations Lead shall coordinate with involved parties, both internally and externally, closely follow up the different contractors and suppliers on interfaces, technical queries, deviations, variation orders, document control, risk management and work processes that affect the Project priorities.
• During FEED project execution, the Marine Operations Lead shall keep a “see-to-duty” of the scope ensuring all project work is being accomplished safely following being developed and delivered in accordance with the specified requirements, codes, standards, regulations and procedures.
Main responsibilities
• Mandated authority and accountable in delivering the Marine Operations scope of work.
• Ensure and contribute to a robust One team HSE focused project culture and organization.
• Ensure the project scope is completely defined including battery limits and interfaces between relevant units, contractors and stakeholders.
• “See-to-Duty” approach, related to scope deliveries and ensuring the scope is being developed in accordance with specified codes, standards, regulations and procedures.
• Ensure effective work processes and systems to allow for efficient and transparent information flow within the project.
• Ensure technical compliance, integrity and integration of the project scope.
• Manage (identify, initiate, review, approve) scope changes affecting the project.
• Coordinate with all involved parties internally and Contractors to identify possible risks affecting project-level priorities.
• Monitor and control project scope including; HSE, reporting, stakeholder management, cost control, schedule management.
• Report to Project Manager.
Deliverables
• QHSE is priority no.1: Deliver the Marine Operations scope of work in accordance within the company`s values, standards and first class QHSE.
• Deliver to the established schedule.
• Deliver most efficient operations to project. (Incl. improvement agenda)
• Deliver transparency, open communication, including utilization of alliances where applicable.
• Deliver installation certificates, reporting both internally and externally.
Interfaces and dependencies
• Proactive and efficient stakeholder management between company and Authorities, coordinated with Subsea Project Manager.
• Check interfaces to AE FPSO, D&W, Technical safety, AE Operations, Subsea Alliance where applicable.
• Interface information and proactivity from involved parties outside the project.
• Active player with SPS Lead, SURF Lead, SPS Controls Lead.
• Active support to Project Manager.
