The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Highways Team Leader with experience of delivering highways projects in and around Georgia.

Opportunity:

My client is leading European consultancy firm who are compiling a proposal for an upcoming World Bank funded project in Georgia. You would be working as part of an International team on behalf of the client throughout the Supervision phase of this Rehabilitation of Local Roads programme.

Responsibilities on the project:

• Lead all projects activities including approval and monitor the contractor's work program, equipment, staff and the source of materials including QA & HSE.
• Manage contractual elements and authorise contractor payments.
• Advise the Client on all project matters including progress, claims from the Contractor and to make recommendations.

Key requirements for the role:

• BSc in Civil Engineering, (Masters would be preferable)
• 20 years of Professional Experience
• 10+ years recent experience on similar projects involving reviewing of designs and supervision in complex concrete and steel bridge structures, tunnelling, and asphalt concrete pavement construction as resident engineer/project manager.
• 5+ years International experience with ADB/ World Bank (FIDIC)
• Previous experience of working in Caucasus region
