Team Leader - Habour/Port / Ivory Coast

We are seeking a Team Leader in marine / maritime (harbour / port) engineering to join a leading consulting engineering company, on a fixed term contract (FTC) to be based in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast).

The client we are working with are a leading European consulting engineering firm with nearly 2000 employees and have been operational for almost 30 years.

Job Role / Responsibilities

The Team Leader position is working in the field of engineering design review and construction supervision for a harbour /port (marine / maritime) construction project. You will be expected to review design completed by the JV partner and work with the end client to deliver these with your construction team.

Location

The role will be based in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast).

Salary Package

The salary package is dependant on experience but up to a maximum of €9,000 / month plus expat package.

Requirements

For this role the client that we are working with have a minimum requirement of:

• MSc in Civil Engineer or related.
• 15+ years of experience within the design and construction field of marine / maritime projects specifically with harbour and port construction.
• Experience on similar projects within Africa, ideally West Africa.
• Fluent in French
