Security Cloud Engineer / USA

Role Summary/Purpose

The Cloud Security Architect will lead the development of target state architectures and roadmaps for Cloud Enterprise architecture domains. You will be a key member of the Information Security Group.

The Cloud Security Architect will guide cloud security solutions throughout all aspects of the development lifecycle, and provide direction and deep domain expertise in securing retail cloud infrastructure solutions of Cloud Platforms and vendor solutions. This role guides Technical Architects to ensure that program and project architectures adhere to the standards, target state architectures, and roadmaps.

Essential Responsibilities

• Influences architectural direction and creates cloud program and project deliverables to frame architecture project work and execution in collaboration with Domain Architects, project and solution teams
• Evaluates project deliverables from project technical leads and IT teams to ensure they meet specifications and architectural standards, guidelines and patterns
• Evaluates cloud solutions using baseline cloud security standards
• Educates others on standards, guidelines, across program and projects to drive efficiency
• Defines and enforces solutions standards, procedures, metrics to ensure consistency
• Develops detailed architecture plans and conceptual, logical architectures and data flows with more than one viewpoint
• Drives the adoption of new technologies and innovative technical trends and developments
• Works on implementation of security solutions in the cloud environment hands on

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited college or university OR (High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or Institution with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience)
• Minimum 7 years of information technology experience
• Minimum 5 years of information security experience
• 2+ years of experience working with third party IT vendors and/or IT system solution providers

Eligibility Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% as required

Desired Characteristics

• CCSP
• Familiarity with IBM soft layer, Azure, AWS
• SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, Workday, and Office 365, SAP
• Virtual Firewalls, WAF
• Components that comprise a successful information security program
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, ICS-CIRT guidelines, SCADA control systems, SCADA firewalls' configuration
• Familiar with Palo Alto and/or CISCO Network infrastructure device (routers, switches, firewall)
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to proactively analyze and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written
• Proven ability to persuade and influence outcomes
• Proven ability to work well with multiple vendors and corporate teams
