Graduate Web Application Software Engineer Job Specification:
The Graduate Web Application Software Engineer is required to strengthen the web application development team. The focus of this team is the delivery of user assistance to support our commercial web-based solutions for the energy sector.
This work requires the Graduate Web Application Software Engineer to have the flexibility to work across a broad technology stack, as well as being able to shape and influence the delivered solutions.
The web application development team works closely with product and service teams in Leeds and from the wider organization, as well as engaging with external groups on various aspects.
To be successful the applicant must be comfortable working in a team environment, be able to demonstrate strong initiative, as well as proactively collaborating with other groups.
Graduate Web Application Software Engineer Job Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related discipline.

Graduate Web Application Software Engineer Job Requirements:
- C# or similar object orientated language
- Scripting e.g. python
- Good understanding of OO design and SOLID principles
- Self-motivated individual, with a willing-to-learn attitude, who values quality over speed
- Ability to work in a team environment that is fast-paced and follows Agile development practices
- Ability to write clean and efficient code
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
