The engineering department, consisting of experienced, multi-discipline engineering personnel within one of our ongoing contracts is seeking to strengthen the team through the recruitment of an experienced Lead Instrumentation and Controls Engineer.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
- To carry out professional engineering, procurement, construction, installation and completion activities in a competent and efficient manner whilst ensuring that the technical and safety integrity of engineering being performed is maintained at all times
- Liaise with client project and facilities engineering in the execution of the modifications project scopes of work
- Act in the capacity as Task Lead Engineer when assigned to do so within a project or contract
- Accountable for the effective administration and implementation of Management of Change
- Preparation of CTR's and man-hour estimates via our Integrated Management System (AKIMS) where applicable
- Execute technical duties in a competent and professional manner and in accordance with company procedures
- Liaise with other disciplines on design, construction, fabrication and commissioning issues
- Responsibility for the performance of others within their discipline / function
- Overall responsibility for the delivery of multi-discipline and or single discipline engineering modifications / project scope of works within a contract or a project
- Manage the defined scopes of work provided by the contact / project management team ensuring that the discipline scopes of work are fully defined and in accordance with the client's requirements
- Educated to degree level in engineering discipline
- Chartered Engineer preferred
- TUV Rheinland Certified
- Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
- Current Offshore Survival Certificate
- Relevant professional experience
- Ability to direct and guide engineers and designers
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good team working skills
- Pro-active attitude
