Project Engineer / Algeria

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the overall management of projects including:

Manage a portfolio of plant and infrastructure modifications

Identify material requirements, initiate and follow-up procurement

Facilitate assessments for Design and Construction

Interface with Technical Authorities on Scope of Requirement and Technical Standards

Interface with E&P contractor

Interface with the Construction Department

Input to detailed plan for modifications

Act as single point of accountability for assigned work.

Maintain job specific forecasting mechanism to reflect budget status

Prepare estimates for new works and progress funding

Track Commitments and Expenditure

Manage cost performance against agreed budgets

Minimum of 10 year experience as an engineer within mechanical, instrument or electrical discipline in the gas / oil industry

Minimum of 10 year experience in project engineering and execution

Working knowledge of the standards, design, construction, operation and maintenance for the systems and equipment used in the industry.

Project and operations planning principles and systems.

Team player, committed to building good working relationships.

English fluent. French speaking would bé bénéficial
