Hydropower Contract & Claims Specialist: Senegal

The market leading global power recruitment specialist is seeking experienced Contracts & Claims specialist for an Hydropower project in Senegal.

Opportunity:

This leading International consultancy with a global reputation for delivering major hydropower projects around the world are looking for an experienced international expert to join their team shortly.

Working as part of international team you shall have a key role is ensuring the successful delivery of this project.

Responsibilities:

The successful individual shall be responsible for supervising and administering the contractual elements of the contract (FIDIC Yellow book). This shall involve working closely with contractors and stakeholder handling and protecting from claims.

Key requirements for the role:

• University degree
• Computer literacy (MS Office, AutoCAD) would be an asset;
• Excellent command in French language (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
• Preferably 15 years, but minimum of 10 years experience is required;
• International experience.
• Minimum 10 years professional experience as a contract specialist or claim expert in supervision of Hydropower or other related projects implemented under yellow FIDIC conditions of Contract.

Salary Package:

The salary package on offer is flexible as this is a new scheme my client is currently establishing the budget for each positions however I would expect them to be within $10-15,000 plus full expatriate package including Flights, accommodation etc.
