Piping Engineer / Italy

Description

Review design drawings and documents, material and equipment specifications and analyses the deviations. Resolving piping related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards. Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, line designation, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes & standards, procedures, and specifications.

 Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Studying and understanding blueprints of designs prepared by planners and supervising installation works
• Planning and preparing schedule for finishing work within deadlines
• Ensuring efficiency of the piping system
• Ensuring that the job progresses as per schedule
• Meeting with planners, architects and planners in order to discuss plans and clarify installation process
• Implementing and ensuring safety measures in the place of work
• Preparing estimates of the piping work
• Document various stages of development of the project

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering
• Minimum of10 years of related work experience
• Experience in design requirements for pressure piping located within plant areas with associated fittings and equipment such as valves, flanges, tanks and vessels.  He is able to prepare and review as a minimum with Process Flow Diagram (PFD),Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID), Piping Designation Table, Safety Instruction Sheets (SIS) , Isometric Piping Detail Drawing, Piping flexibility calculations and Hydrostatic Test Diagram.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and verbally
