Area Coordinator / Netherlands

Description

• The Area Coordinator at our location in Rotterdam will conduct HSSE Risk Identification Workshops and oversees the field work execution per schedule, reports problems and ensures schedule (work list) compliance. 
• You conduct work packs walk-downs prior to maintenance beginning.
• Review for constructability, safety, congestion, schedule accuracy and materials.
• You also review the contractor craft ability and define contractor resource plan (assignments, locations, responsibilities, coordinators etc). 
• You initiate pre-turnaround mobilization as dictated by the schedule and work with scheduling to define contractor craft build up.
• You oversee the turnaround work list execution and facilitate daily status meetings and coordination meetings. 
• You complete materials audits for assigned work and execute pre-turnaround work. Also you inspect/inventory the contractor area/materials/equipment, control costs through efficient execution, compliance with the planned work and adherence to controls policy. 
• You ensure changes to work scope are conducted via the approval process (change request) and ensure work order steps are followed and any deviation from approved work scope or inspection test plans is approved by the document originator. 

Requirements

• Technical education 
• 5 - 7  years of refinery experience or in a production environment
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization
• Alignment with company values of: safety above all else, respect, raise the bar, commitments matter and do the right thing
• Familiar with the development of turnarounds and/or capital projects
