Description
- Initiate, plan and coordinate measures to maximise hydrocarbon production.
- Monitor and analyse production system performance; identify capacity restrictions and bottlenecks.
- Perform production technology studies (artificial lift optimisation, vertical flow analysis, nodal analysis).
- Contribute to the execution of the gas sales, transportation and processing contracts (including volume and capacity planning, hydrocarbon allocation, Force Majeure claims, gas composition analysis).
- Provide production engineering support (including production chemistry) to other departments.
- Optimise performance of the production system from well perforations to sales point in close cooperation with reservoir engineers, CCR and production supervisors.
- Ensure adequate monitoring of production data and its storage in the company database, identify deficiencies to measurements and recommend improvements.
- Work closely together with all operational disciplines to ensure timely and optimal solutions.
- Contribute to asset value optimisation
Requirements
- Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 7 yrs of experience in subsurface, production operations, EPC, wells and/or facilities engineering. Strong subsurface or production engineering experience is preferred.
- Experienced in integrated production and/or wells and reservoir modelling
- Good working knowledge of petroleum production operations (tight gas operations is an asset).
- Self-motivated and a demonstrated ability to deliver stretch targets while fostering a fun
- Strong communication skills including the ability to work across an organization
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with people and groups outside of the immediate organization.
- Good understanding of well and production economics.
