Mechanical Fitter : Rail / Western Australia

The Role:

Our Mining Contractor is looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to work across numerous mine sites here in WA. These are rewarding and exciting opportunities, with the potential for growth and development. FIFO on even time and 2:1 rosters as well as workshop based positions.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Australian Recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Solid experience in vehicle systems maintenance, fault finding
• Previous experience working on Wagons, Locomotives and/or track machines
• Extensive Mechanical mining background 
• Cat 3 Rail medical or willing to obtain
• Current Australian working rights. 
• Previous experience in a large mining operation involving Rail
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
