Production Technician / Oman

Our client is seeking to add to their established and successful production team, in preparation for Phase 2 operations on a large gas plant.

Operating on a rotational basis, 28 days on 28 days off, you will be responsible for preparing the phase 2 facilities for start-up and operations. In addition you will be supporting the mechanical completion and system handover walk down processes as well as supporting commissioning activities where required.

Other responsibilities include;

• Ensuring HSSE and Operating Discipline expectations are met
• Preparing process, utility and energy isolations
• Maintaining an awareness of the sites major risks
• Ensuring that facility operations remain withing the parameters outlined in the ops manual
• Keeping accurate station logs

To be successful in the role you will be;

• Educated in a relevant production discipline to NVQ3 level or equivalent
• Experienced in production operations within gas, oil or petrochemical processing plants
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
• Experienced in working with leak testing contractors
• Competent with isolation and reinstatement of process equipment
