Due to imminent project award, our client is currently recruiting a Solar Farm Construction Superintendent to work on a FIFO basis from Perth.
The Superintendent will manage all resources necessary to build the facilities and coordinate all the contractor to ensure compliance with the safety, quality, deadline and cost targets set by the company and the client. The Superintendent will report to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the resourcing, materials and construction activities on site to ensure the safe delivery of the solar farm.
Supervise and coordinate with the contractor & subcontractors, ensuring performance to the contract.
Supervise daily operations and monitor performance in accordance with the safety, quality, scope, cost and deadline targets.
Constantly collaborate with the Engineering Department in finding the best technical solutions.
Lead commissioning of the facilities.
This role requires previous experience as a Supervisor / Manager on solar farm construction, knowledge of the construction codes and electrical requirements. You must be available to work on a FIFO basis from Perth on a 3:1 roster.
