Fancy a new challenge to head up the Engineering function of a large Chemical Plant. One of my largest clients is heading up a £50 Million capital project and they need a Head of Engineering to take the reigns and deliver on this exciting project.
OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The Head of Engineering will have overall responsibility for all engineering aspects on site; this includes maintenance & reliability, capital projects, site services and facilities. Lead and manage the site engineering team(s) which is to provide engineering support to operations and facilities activities. Key roles include management, planning and delivery of all maintenance and engineering activities at the site to high standards of compliance with the business and regulatory requirements. The focus of the work will be to ensure that processes operate safely and efficiently, and in compliance with ISO regulation.

Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Qualified as a Chartered Engineer.
- Experience of providing process engineering support to chemical development and/or commercial chemical manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of ISO systems, and building services such as chilled water plant as well as working knowledge of Building Management Systems.
- Experience of specification, design, installation, commissioning and project management of process and utility equipment.
- Knowledge of maintenance reliability techniques as well as experience of the Safety Management of contractors.
