Our client, based in Aberdeen, is responsible for delivering quality service, safely, on time, within budget whilst ensuring the technical integrity of onshore and offshore assets. We actively promote the highest standards of HSEQ and at all times act within the company Just Care procedures. The engineering department, consisting of experienced, multi-discipline engineering personnel within one of our ongoing contracts is seeking to strengthen the team through the recruitment of an experienced Electrical Technical Authority.
This is initially a temporary role for approximately 3 months, although further work may be available.
Experience Required: More than 10 years Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree and Chartered Responsibilities and Tasks:

Experience Required: More than 10 years Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree and Chartered Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Accountable for the technical quality and integrity of the work
- Execute technical duties in a competent Technical Authority responsible for the integrity, development and leadership of the relevant Engineering/Design Discipline and advice on the effective co-ordination of all discipline resources
- To carry out professional engineering activities in a highly competent and efficient manner and ensure that the technical and safety integrity of the engineering is maintained while completing the tasks within allocated time
- Provide guidance in technical matters and ensure that the disciplines are aware of and are working to current engineering standards and procedures
- Compliance and adherence to Technical Standards
- Assess and approve potential deviations to the relevant technical standards in support of asset modifications, maintenance and operations activities
- Work with Verification Coordinator and IVB
- Approve deviations or changes to operating procedures
- Educated to degree level in engineering discipline
- Chartered Engineer
- TUV Rheinland Certified (Preferred)
- Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
- Current Offshore Survival Certificate
- Relevant professional experience
- Ability to direct and guide engineers and designers
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good team working skills
- Pro-active attitude
