Reservoir Engineers - Qatar
Our client is an internationally renowned Oil & Gas operator that is looking to recruit 2x Reservoir Engineers for a long-term Drilling operation to work on a residential basis in Qatar.
Position: Reservoir Engineer
Number of Positions: Two
Schedule: Residential / Doha office-based
Duration: Long Term Drilling Project: Annual / renewable contract
Job Description:
·Conduct and review analytical and numerical analyses, and integrate results to identify and advise on follow up actions, to address threats and opportunities related to reservoir performance management.
·Support the execution of rig-assisted projects such as providing input to well information summaries, well execution programmes.
·Support the project design work and provide input to various documents such as, but not limited to, project design memorandum, conceptual development plan, well information summary, well execution program.
Job Context & Major Challenges:
·Responsible for performing analytical and numerical analysis of well performance data.
·Collect data information as input to project documents
·Support rig-assisted project execution
Key Job Accountabilities:
·Leads the efforts in preparing reservoir engineering data and information as input for well information summary documents and well execution programs.
·Closely follows-up during the execution of rig-assisted projects, e.g. follow-up during the drilling and stimulation phase. Co-ordinates and monitors the well clean-up with the rig facilities.
·Performs analytical assessments of well performance based on open-hole, cased-hole and early production data. Compiles after action documents and management presentations.
·Leads the efforts in preparing reservoir engineering data and information as input to various related project documents.
·Uses analytical and numerical, standard and advanced reservoir engineering calculations to evaluate well, platforms block and reservoir performance and suggests solutions to rectify problems.
Qualifications:
·University degree in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
·Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in reservoir engineering.
·Well versed in computer skills and be independent user of reservoir engineering application programs.
·Knowledge of fundamental business practices.
