Subsea & Pipeline Planner / Western Australia

Our global oil & gas client are urgently requiring a Subsea and Pipelines (SSPL) Planner reporting into the Project Services Lead and offered on a 24mth contract based here in Perth CBD.

This role will be responsible for providing planning, scheduling and reporting services to this major LNG Project for the integrated scope including Subsea Productions Systems (SPS), Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF), Gas Export Pipeline (GEP), submarine Fibre Optic Communication, Sub-Surface and Drilling & Completions (D&C) scope objects.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and progress detailed schedules for SSPL, Sub-Surface and D&C scopes of the LNG Project;
• Ensure schedules and plans are following Company corporate requirements and specific Project procedures;
• Review contractor schedules for completeness and contractual compliance, including analysis of logic, float, resources and level of detail;
• Develop and maintain schedule for the LNG Project including monitoring critical path for SSPL, D&C and Project activities;
• Prepare SSPL Risk Schedule and Basis of Schedule; provide references, variance ranges and context for all elements, and provide input to LNG Project Basis of Schedule for SSPL scope of work;
• Develop, update, and report on SSPL progress curves and identify and follow up on key project risks;
• Provide presentation and schedule schematics (what-if scenarios) to assist with communicating information and planning context to management and multiple major stakeholders;
• Assist contract and purchase order administration activities by review/assessment of the schedule impact of proposed variations.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience as a Planner in upstream oil and gas projects.
• Recent experience as a Planner on subsea and export pipeline scopes of work.
• Expert in the use of Primavera P6 for schedule development.
• Expert in the use of Milestone Professional for preparing summary schedules.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Teamwork and effective collaboration with various discipline personnel and with project management.
• Experience in scopes of work including marine installation - SURF or pipelay; Subsea Production System manufacturing, fabrication and installation; flexible products and umbilical manufacturing; and/or line pipe manufacture and corrosion coating.
