Highways Team Leader (Maintenance & Training) - Myanmar

We are seeking an experienced Highways Team Leader for an upcoming highways maintenance project in Myanmar

Opportunity:

My client is a major international consultancy who have project around the world and across South East Asia. They are requiring a capable Team Leader to lead the maintenance activities for a recently awarded IFI funded project.

This project shall be working closely with the local ministry and shall be carried out to Performance-Based Road Contract conditions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Team Leader shall be responsible for ensuring the setting up and operation of the maintenance activities advising and resolving schedules, methodologies and Training of local engineers.

• Preparation of Formal contract execution & Evaluation of OPRC administration
• Acting as the Owner's representative
• Compile and issue reports
• Approve design & resolve technical issues

Key requirements for the role:

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering;
• 15 years of proven relevant international experience;
• 10 years' experience as Team Leader (highway engineer) leading road construction and/or maintenance projects; having managed performance-based contracts or availability payment projects will be an asset;
• At least 2 team leadership assignments;
• Previous Training Experience
• Regional Experience Fluency in English writing and communication

Language:

• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

Salary Package:

The salary package on offer is flexible depending on experience.
