Our client owns and operates the world’s largest fleet of FPSOs and is in need of a Human Resource Director to join their team in Houston, TX.
Objective
The Human Resources Director is responsible for providing strategic advice, offering ideas, insights and recommendations on Company policies, staffing strategies, new business and other topics that impact the global and local business. This individual will design and lead local change management initiatives complaint with local and global law and legislation in addition to the company policies and procedures.

This individual will design and lead local change management initiatives complaint with local and global law and legislation in addition to the company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
- Continually engage internal stakeholders (MDs, HRMs, Head of Functions, etc.) to understand business needs and analyze those priorities in line with the company strategy
- Full scope of the employee life cycle
- Act as a consultant/coach to senior managers to increase organizational performance, improved personal/team performance, increase effective communications and improve relationships
- Ensure performance based annual salary increases, Short and Long Term Incentive Programs, recruitment and retention decisions are based on accurate Reward Analysis benchmarks
- Ensure Company processes are understood and followed across disciplines;
- Ensure local business needs are elevated, understood and translated into strategic Group HR frameworks
- Provide recommendations to improve HR policies and procedures whilst analyzing potential exposures, bearing in mind the cost impact of the decisions taken
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements; Ensure local compliance requirements for HR processes are adhered to
- Supervising a team of 10 employees in the Human Resource department
- Previous management experience
- Ability to build relationships at global level and ability to effectively manage the HR team and staff employees at the local level
- Previously served as corporate/local executive leadership level
- Strong knowledge/supervision of EPCI compensation and benefits
- Strong knowledge/experience as a Plan Manager for 401k plan and wellness plans
- Worked in a global matrix organization previously
- Oversight of recruitment and onboarding
- Oversight of International mobility expertise
- Knowledge of ADP and Success Factors HRIS preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment compliance and laws
- Change management skills and techniques
