Introduction

We are pleased to offer the following key contract positions: Discipline engineer electrical power engineering (elkraft)

Work Location: Bergen - Sandsli

Startup: ASAP - 31.07.2020

Option period 2 x 6 months

Description

  • Handle all relevant engineering matters related to the electrical discipline 
  • Ensure alignment within the electrical discipline 
  • Ensure experience transfer to and from the project 
  • Ensure alignment with client’s discipline line organisation
  • Ensure integration and coordination with other project disciplines
  • Co-ordinate discipline tasks across contract boarders
  • Participate in discipline and multidiscipline reviews 
  • Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties
  • Contribute to implement necessary degree of digitalization, remote control and robustness of electrical power equipment (distribution boards, transformers, HV / LV inverters, DEH equipment, ETH equipment, VSD, UPS etc)

Requirements

  • Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within electrical power engineering (elkraft, høyspent)
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience from offshore oil & gas project execution
  • Experience from engineering and design of electrical power systems is a prerequisite. 
  • For the Unmanned Process Platform concepts, VSD competence is an advantage 
  • HSE training in accordance with client`s recommendations 
  • Multi-discipline understanding 
  • Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably client’s technical requirements
  • Ability to work in a team 
  • High ethical standards and adherence to client's ethical requirements 
  • Ability to handle high work loads
  • Language requirements English
