Highways Team Leader/ Resident Engineer - Nepal

We are seeking an experienced Highways Team Leader for an upcoming ADB funded Highway Improvement project in Nepal. The project shall be for the supervision of the construction of the project roads & bridges, and the Maintenance work of the project roads under the Performance Based Maintenance Contract.

Opportunity:

My client is a leading International consultancy firm who are requiring this expert to lead an international team working closely with the client and funding agency to ensure the successful development and delivery of this major network improvement scheme.

Responsibilities on the project:

The successful individual shall be required to supervise all activities, manage stakeholders and administrate the contractual elements of the project. The role shall be leading a team of both international & local engineers.

Key requirements for the role:

• Graduate in Civil Engineering
• Masters in Transport Engineering/Highway Engineering/Construction Management or related field. (Preferred but not essential)
• 15 years on Road projects
• 10 years' experience as a Team Leader and minimum experience with 2 Road projects (of service duration of 2 years or more each) construction supervision of size approximately $120 million each.
• Experience in wide geographic regions.
