E & I Senior Project Engineer
Our client is an internationally renowned Oil & Gas operator that is looking to recruit a Senior E&I Project Engineer on a long-term contract basis to work out of Qatar.
Job Purpose
•Engage and review delivery of EPC Documentation and attend EPC Contractor workshops and meetings to ensure COMPANY requirements are met in the execution of detailed design, brownfield.
•Support the technical execution of interface agreements throughout the interface agreement life cycle to ensure that they are fit-for- purpose and delivered at the correct level to support the Permit to Work requirements.
•Deliver and manage the Lessons Learned and Issues Management processes, identify critical issues and issue prerequisite reports to management on monthly basis
Reporting and Relationships
·Reports to Head of Technical (Brownfield).
·Nil reports
·Directs CONTRACTOR team in delivery of COMPANY requirements
·Internal: Maintain regular communication with NFPS Projects, Operations, HSE&Q, Sub-Surface, Engineering at required level.
Key Job Accountabilities
•Review and management of EPC Contractor document in a timely manner.
•Deliver LL's and report on status and incorporation within the Project
•Manage LL meetings at the required frequency and at the QGPMS stage Gates
•Manage Issues Management Process and reporting. Raise Key issues to Management.
•Support the Interface & Execution Team as required in Interface Agreements and Brownfield Execution delivery
•Contribute in and IA Workshops on the interface agreement process with Company and Contractor to ensure compliance.
•Contribute in HAZID, HAZOP and Model review workshops.
•Develop guidelines, processes and procedures necessary to support and control the offshore installation phase with CONTRACTOR.
•Plan work based upon project milestones and objectives.
•Contribute to COMPANY Lessons Learned process.
Minimum Requirements
•Engineering Diploma / Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
•10 years' experience in oil and gas projects environment and/or operations and maintenance of hydrocarbon processing facilities, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
•Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Project Management System and Phases, Process & Execution.
•Requires strong analytical, organisational and planning skills.
•Ability to manage competing priorities and demonstrate superior organization skills.
•Excellent analytical and interpretive skills.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Independent and able to initiate and recommend solutions encompassing various technical specialties.
•Computer literate, working application of Microsoft Office Suite
